Endodontist Sedation Dentistry
Patients with dental anxiety shouldn’t have to suffer with pain or the symptoms of dental damage, or worry about the long-lasting consequences of avoiding dental work. Sedation gently soothes the patient and allows them to receive the dental work they need in a comfortable and relaxed state of mind.
A severe toothache may mean the tooth's soft inner tissue is damaged or infected as a result of deep decay or trauma. An endodontic treatment, such as root canal therapy, can relieve the pain and save the tooth by removing the pulp and cleaning, filling and sealing the canals. The tooth is then restored with a crown or other restoration.
