Dental implants require a surgical procedure that fuses bone to a dental prosthesis. This procedure involves drilling and has a longer recovery time than other procedures.
Post-Accident Dental Trauma — car accidents or other accidents that involve a severe blow to the jaw or face may result in a chipped or dislodged tooth, an avulsed (knocked out) tooth, or a root fracture. Endodontic treatment can help save teeth that have been affected in an accident.
