Emergency Endodontist Services On-Call Urgent Dental Care in Riverton

A dental emergency can range from severe pain, infections and injury. Dental injuries include chipped or fractured teeth, dislodged teeth, avulsed or knocked out teeth and root fractures. In most cases of dental injury the inner soft tissue, or dental pulp, is damaged requiring an immediate and thorough dental examination from an Riverton endodontics specialist. Pain management and antibiotics may need to be administered before business hours as well.

The long term health of an injured tooth depends on the nature of the injury, the length of time from injury to treatment, how your tooth was cared for after the injury and your body’s response. Seek treatment from an endodontic specialist immediately following a traumatic dental injury to increase the likelihood of saving the tooth with dental root surgery Riverton.

Injuries to the Mouth & Teeth

When is Dental Trauma an Emergency?

Dental trauma is classified as a severe injury to the mouth. This can include any damage to your teeth, gums, lips, tongue, and jawbone. While a small cavity may not be labeled as a dental emergency, a broken or avulsed tooth (in which a tooth has been entirely dislodged from its socket) would be considered severe dental trauma and requires immediate dental trauma emergency medicine and treatment. These types of injuries are rarely life-threatening, but they are undoubtedly painful and can cause dental health issues and cosmetic concerns for the patient.

Dental Trauma from an Auto Accident

Airbags are lifesaving devices, but they often cause dental trauma when deployed. During a car accident, a victim can also injure their face from hitting it against the steering wheel, dashboard or window. This dental trauma from an auto accident can include knocked out teeth, root fractures, chipped or broken teeth, and even jaw bruising or fracturing. Don’t wait to get these problems addressed. The sooner a specialist can help, the better the recovery. For the best emergency dentist in Riverton, visit Greater Endodontics.

I am very pleased and satisfied with the instructions, care, and concern I received as I had my root canal fixed. From the initial phone call, verifying important information, to the actual appointment, every concern I had was thoroughly explained and discussed to my satisfaction. The best part of my experience was the professionalism and skillful manner by which Endodontic Specialist Dr. Curtis J. Brimley performed my procedure. I voiced my concern and distaste for the anesthetic numbing process they would use on me. They assured and reassured me it will be painless and I won't even feel the anesthetic being applied. As Dr. Bramley started the procedure, I was wondering when he was going to apply the anesthetic. I was really surprised when, during the procedure, I found out the anesthetic has already been applied, and I did not once feel any sharp pinching poke next to the root canal area. I was quietly smiling when I realized my anxiety about my root canal procedure was not necessary. I was at ease from the beginning, of fixing my root canal problem, to when Dr. Brimley said, "it's all done" I am very happy and pleased with how I was taken cared of and treated for a root canal by Dr. Curtis Brimley's Endodontic office in Riverton, Utah. If I had another root canal issue. I would most gladly go back to Endodontic Specialist of Riverton to Dr. Curtis Brimley and his great staff without thinking twice. I am very grateful!!!

I am a person with huge dental fears. I had to get a re-treatment of a root canal and told the Endodontist (Ivan) how afraid I was to feel pain during the procedure. He made sure to numb me extra and reassure me that I shouldn’t feel any pain. I was very nervous, but never felt an ounce of pain and the procedure was over within 50 minutes. I felt Ivan and his assistant were more than understanding and accommodating in helping me feel relaxed and comfortable and easing my fears. Very grateful for a positive, pain free experience.

I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else to have my root canal done. Especially without the Gentle Wave Technology & Nitrous! Dr. Casper is incredible. Very knowledgeable, kind, understanding, explains everything, and makes you feel comfortable. He did my 1st Root Canal and it was successful. 2 years later I decided to go back to have my other root canal redone by him because where I went previously they couldn't get it cleaned enough (didn't have gentle wave) and it became infected. Hands down the best experience for a crappy thing to go though lol.
